that shirt makes me wanna vomit all over this weeks issue of zzapp! Notice how calm he is, now alls they do is shout their faces off into a camera while standing up, usually in a big open space.

You're so right jaffaps2, all the presenters do nowadays is scream at kids and chat absolute shit for hours, kids TV has gone downhill so badly since the days of good old Sooty and Sweep! :(

@boffinme80 So what *did* you want me to say?
-
boffinme80, I was only *sympathising* that you miss the *original* Sooty and find the *newer* version *rubbish* (which it *is*)
-
@shermanvermin76 I'm reporting you for harrassment!!
-
@boffinme80 What's worse, you remember, after Sunday the 27th of October 2002, LWT, when it was thirty-four years old, was just a memory since its debut on Friday 2nd August 1968.

@shermanvermin76 I DON'T FUCKING CARE!!!! JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!
-
@shermanvermin76 If you're going to speak to me, stick to the bloody subject! I don't fucking care when Sooty was broadcast or the Catchphrase episodes! I was replying to someone about TV today and you give me such irrelevant details! I.Don't.Fucking.Care! Okay?? I love Sooty but your weirdo drabble is driving me crazy!

(*fourth* comment!) @boffinme80 and, in *place* of Geoffrey Hayes, they had a *ridiculous* light blue rabbit called 'Cleo'.
-
(*third* comment!) @boffinme80 (*third* comment!) @boffinme80 The Sooty Show becoming Sooty and Co, Catchphrase being changed from being owned by TVS to Carlton, TV-am changing to GMTV and, most of all, Thames changing to Carlton, is additionally why the *original* version of 'Rainbow' (debuted in 1972) ended at the beginning of 1993, when it was just after turning twenty, and why it had a *rubbish* *new* version 'Rainbow *Days*' in 1994, with no *Geoffrey* for goodness sake,
boffinme80 still hasn't said anything after the last two things I said, that I was telling him I feel sorry for him that he misses the old Sooty and hates the *newer* incarnations of him, and that I asked what he *wanted* me to say.
Anyway, *did* The Sooty Show changing to 'Sooty and Co' in 1993 and Rainbow having a new version in 1994 have anything to do with Thames changing to Carlton? I know boffinme80 will tell me that TVS and Thames were *irrelevant*, as *most* users have told me.

@shermanvermin76 Thames Television simply lost its ITV license and was 'replace' by Carlton. There was no studio to produce the shows and those long running brands were cancelled or move to another ITV company. Rainbow came to an natural end and relaunching Sooty as 'Sooty and Co' was a smart move.
Plus please keep this chat you and @boffinme80 nice or I will remove comments. Be thankful CITV still has a place on ITV1 even if its only 6.00am to 9.25am on Weekends and a whole channel on Freeview
