A nice tour around X-Plane 9's default Cirrus The Jet. Video include outside of the aircraft, as well as the cabin and the cockpit. The video also includes T/O.

  • How do you open the doors?!

  • @nuttsykookoo You will have to set a shortcut under the joystick settings! Click on the keys tab and set a keyboard shortcut to "canopy toggle". I use shift-D

  • Hello, I wondered how you manage the v tail commands, I can´t make it respond to the rudders and the elevator at the same time. And the 3D cockpit you made looks wonderfull... I can desing in CATIA but don´t know wich formats works for xplane (that CATIA can export) or wich program converts it.

  • Hi,

I actually didn't make the plane. It comes with X-Plane 9. (Look in GA/Cirrus).

I am using a CH products Yoke for my controls.

  • which airport is that?

  • @MrJuanito132 No thrust reverse... The aircraft is too light for the need for that.

  • hello can you help me ? how to thrust reverse?

  • how did u mov the cmra lik tht

  • yes, i think we all have the same question. how do you open the doors?

also, does anyone know how much in real life this plane costs? if i ever win the lottery, this will be the first thing i buy!

  • Gosh, the cirrus is a pretty smokin jet. Love how the cockpit feels like a car.

  • @Nefariusi I don't develop planes for XP so I don't really know much about this, just mentioning though you could try opening this plane from this video (XP Aicraft/General Aviation/Cirrus) in Plane-maker or blender to see how it's done?

  • @SVnerd I kept looking for the answer with no satisfying results, I got some CATIA models to Plane Maker trough Blender but is not a real solution since the objects get distorted. I tried learning Blender but its anti-intuitive interface prevented me from advancing far enough. I wish some intuitive OSX like program would allow us to make the planes easier.

  • I'm looking for the answer too. I know when using different CAD software people tend to convert to IGES (.igs) The planemaker software has the planes stored as .obj Now if Someone here knows of a way to convert from .obj to .igs and the other way around then that would be great!!
