He points out the strangely high incarceration rate of minorities and DNA evidence that reveals innocent people have been put in prison. This is what Ron Paul is standing against. If you repeal drug prohibition, you take power away from racist police officers and judges to incarcerate innocent people.

There is no evidence of Ron Paul being a racist. There is no video clip, no audio, nothing, just a newsletter, who he had other people writing for him. Imagine you owned a newsletter, could you be held responsible everything everybody wrote in each article? That's the editors job. Ron Paul was the publisher. His words and his proposed actions are the most anti-racist of any other candidate, including the President, who just happens to be half-black.

Haha. Please. Thomas Soweel is a vulgar propagandist, not a scholar. Just watch his comments on inequality. He doesn't know anything about current cutting edge research on the sobjects he's talking about. Social programs do not keep the poor in poverty, if designed carefully (as they do in Denmark, Sweden etc.). Social democracy and a generous welfare state can be very efficient if it covers EVERYONE. Selective welfare hurts the poor. This is basic economics.
