Trail Tech Voyager Moto-GPS. This demonstration tutorial shows how to follow along a route while recording a track. Specifically: copy a GPX file onto a MicroSD card, import it into Voyager, start logging a track, follow along the gray route lines while logging a black track line, then stop logging and export the track to the MicroSD card as a GPX file.

  • in the past, i've had problems with Trailtech computers and cleaning solutions...How impervious is the Voyager to simple green and other detergents? I looking to add a Voyager to my dual sport bike but don't want to wreck another one!

  • @heetseeker1

Voyager features a high-end lens polymer that is near impervious to chemical attack. It cannot be damaged by common cleaning chemicals or gasoline. In addition, it has a hard transparent ceramic coating, so you can wipe abrasive dirt from the screen without causing scratches. The surrounding case parts also have a very high end chemical resistant polymer.

  • @trailtechinc what about the vapor, i dont see any videos on it, i saw that its not covered under warranty if the vapor gets damaged by chemicals, etc. and to wipe off cleaning stuff before 30 seconds, but is it water proof where if is raining i dont have to worry about wiping it off?

  • @PlaystationJunkie509

Voyager and Vapor both have good water seals, you don't have to worry about wiping them off. Do not use high pressure water like a pressure washer. Use only water to clean Vapor. Voyager has a ceramic coated screen that will withstand mild detergents.

  • The unit words great in forest with large trees. We are located in the Pacific NW and it has been thoroughly tested in the forests up here. We also have maps located at OHVtrails(dot)net. We are working to get more trails, GPX data is pretty easy to come by.

  • So can I buy trail maps that are already to load onto this unit. I normally pack "green-line" maps of area I'm riding and set a roll chart of the trail numbers. I've never looked into that info being GPS/download ready. I'd by this thing just for the ease of not needing a physical map that I have to drag out.

How good is it in the deep forest with large trees canopy?

  • Trailtech has outstanding products and has the one of the best customer service I experienced. A friend got this device after I showed him my Vapor. We are both happy with our choices.

  • Will this tell you and show you the rout to take when riding in trails?

  • it has helped tremendously with mapping our trail network you can import any map even one you draw yourself right on google earth and import directly into the unit now I can plan a route on the map and try to implement it on the ground with the bikedual sport riders and hardcore trail blazers are going to love this

  • hello, it hae map from europe?
