@Indieexploration no, it's the twee-ification of a powerful, meaningful rock classic. this sounds like it could be in a car commercial.

I can't decide which I like better !!?

Still i think Wolf Parade did it the best.

Wolf Parade's version is a cover. The original was done by Spencer Krug's other band Sunset Rubdown.

Thanks Beth.

I'm not a huge fan of this version - I'm not saying it's terrible and supposed to sound exactly like the original, - but just thought I'd throw my opinion out there. Wolf Parade has so much more passion and pain in their voices, I just find it so much more relateable. But if I wasn't comparing this version to anything, I'd have to say it's a pretty good sounding song. :)

I like this version better..it's all good. :)

I don't think something from 2005 can qualify as a "classic"
I like a lot of car commercial music. Did you know The Unicorns' "I was Born A Unicorn" was once featured in a Fisher Price commercial? Doesn't make the song any less good.

I think my reading of this song's lyrics is a pretty reasonable one. My interpretation is, however, irrelevant because I also don't feel that this cover contributes a lot to the original Wolf Parade song.
