This video demonstrates the properties of Vilene S320 interfacing and H640 fusible wadding (fleece) used together to create structure in a fabric handbag or purse.

It was made (quickly and un-edited!) to accompany this blog post - http://nicolemdesign.blogspot.com/2010/08/combining-interfacings-for-bag-maki... - about the benefits of combining interfacings when making bags and purses.

These interfacings are all available at www.nicolemdesign.com.au (and we ship WORLDWIDE!)

  • @23456JY I said "wadding, which is Austraian for fleece - a synthetic batting, which is much lighter and more suitable for bag-making than batting (batting is best used in quilts).

  • what is bording? Did you mean batting?
