President Chavez didnt sign the renewal contract for the station, which still exists on their cable networks. The Channel was behind and guilty of conspiracy and the 2002 coup. They even admitted it on air. In my country, when that happens the conspirator gets the death penalty. In Venezuela the station is still running on cable networks and Chavez let them off with a slap on the wrist, because of the overwhelming support for Chavez. FOX news does not cover Venezuela, neither does liberal media.
