@patrikasLTL Bliss of the Atma is far beyond the material planes.. it's Rasa, the Atma itself is composed of that bliss. The soul does have a body, a body comprised of bliss and other rapturous spiritual realities.. the absolute realm is nothing like this place...

I honestly had no plans to watch this, but when I saw it pop up while looking up a Ram Dass video where he reads the Upanishads, some energy, like pure light, and pure love, just that really essency consciousness caught me in it's Presence and I knew if I was to find what I'm looking for I really must watch, thanks for posting man, means a lot to find another brother on the journey inside, I truly believe you are manifesting an essence of bliss and energy (the breath of Ram comes to mind) for us

Very beautiful. We must detach our senses from material objects....we should not hanker after them..and that is the key point.Mind can only be fixed at the lord when we close the door of material pleasures.

Would you say that the atma is the essence of "God" that is in everything. There for by knowing this does one begin the transformation I am what I am which still restes as the observer and the mover of the heard.? Please, assistst if you can in breaking this down some more for me, thank you Dearlly. Blessing & Love to you and yours.

@Peacelove278 God is Whole, and the Jivas (individual selves) are also Whole, we all together are a part of the Divine Form of the Lord, but we retain our individuality, because God desired to experience Himself in this infinite way.. By knowing that you are the witness of the thoughts, not the thoughts, that you are the witness of the experiences, not the experiences, and realizing you have no ownership over what you have formerly called "your life", you can detach from the impermanent.
