I cried watching this series. This is a wonderful teacher, a diamond in the rough if you ask me. I wish there were one of him in every school in every country. American kids need this even moreso in my opinion because the whole culture of America has gone beyond the "me first" individualistic attitude and no one seems to care about their neighbors anymore. This man is doing such good work, sad that they will force him to retire soon.

"A perfect victory for them."

Only because they have a good teacher to guide them through life. What an inspiration!

i often cry with the video. i really believe that human's attitude is influenced by the people around him.

if a person like him came across every children even once, it would be a better world i guess. :) and it would be a happier class.

It would be cool for me to know more about other types of Japanese grade schools. I'm constantly fascinated by Japan's school system.

What an amazing teacher. I kinda feel bad that I never had a teacher that changed my life as much as Kanamori changed the lives of those children. It's still good to know that there is someone out there teaching these kids the most important things in life....living a happy life and caring for others.

this is how great men are made...compassion love and sense of responsibility with sooo much respect...they all have it. I wish we had this sort of system worldwide, it would have been a peaceful world.
