Alex Atala & Leblon Cachaça

The first time I encountered Alex Atalas magic was during an afternoon lunch at the famous D.O.M. Restaurant in São Paulo, Brazil.

Wow!

There is a reason why Alex Atalas D.O.M. is rated the top restaurant in São Paulo, Brazil and Latin America, year-after-year... and this year, D.O.M. is ranked #24 in the World by Restaurant Magazines list of the top 50 restaurants in the world.

Alex now has a new restaurant in the same neighborhood in São Paulo.

Wow! Again. Wow!

The restaurant is called Dalva e Dito, a culinary tribute to 100% Brazilian food and it is sensational. We recently visited Alex in the kitchen at both D.O.M. and Dalva e Dito, learning some of his favorite recipes in the kitchen, and tasting some amazing Leblon cocktail creations.
