In the end Steve and Darren should have somehow became friends again and defeated Des tiny together. Bring it back to the beginning so they could both go to paradise. Steve didn't deserve the lake of souls nor did Darren. It's all to sad.

I am only up to book 5 I know the "Big secret" from the last book. And I think the books were waayy better than the movie they missed so many good parts it should have been like many movies like one for each book would have been way better than missign the good parts like the trails...

I would say i hate steve, killing shancus was horrendous, but he was mislead to believe that his bff darren betrayed him. You know a series is great when you can can really get into the story and have strong feelings (hate,like,sorry,...etc) towards the characters. The one i despise is desmond tiny (mr. tiny) Why did he have to put darren and steve against eachother? Bastard! Have read both 'the saga of darren shan' and 'demonata' at least 5 times each. Waiting for the next book of mr crepsley
