Sorry I forgot to add this to my last comment. Michael Jackson also owns rapper Eminem catalog as wells as Shakira. He made this purchase in 2007. The purchase also includes other artist but I don't have the list. This was also added to the Sony/ATV catalog. Michael owned the rights to a lot artists and their songs. I don't understand why the media keep acting like he was poor. Is so stupid to me. I hope that answered your question.

Don't believe everything you hear. Yes he had some debt but he did not die broke. Michael's cds were still selling even after the 2005 trail. Michael also owned half of the Sony/ATV catalog which included all the Beatles songs. He owned his owns catalog. The man also got paid to show up at events. For example, lets say his debt was 200million but Michael was only making 100milion. He has to live so is a little hard to pay off all your bills. Plus we all have debt that doesn't mean we're broke.

I'm not sure if he owns all of Elvis catalog but he does own some of Elvis songs...I'm not sure how many. There is an article online where Lisa Marie express anger because Michael approved the use of a song by Elvis for a commercial. I'm wonder if the idea of Michael owning some of Elvis songs is part of the reason their marriage didn't work. We all know that Lisa's mother and everyone around her did not like Michael. It made me laugh that Michael owns some of Elvis...he was a smart business man
