Jayasumanaramaya Temple Sri Lanka 8 : Stupa

Thero explains how the Buddhists philosophy is represented in a Dagoba.
Dagoba has a very sound importance in the Buddhist philosophy and at the same time
"Wewai Dagobai" , Tank and the Stupa is the base of our civilization.

This specific Dagoba/Stupa is built based
on the great support from people in the village, people around and even from abroad.
Some of the special methods we utilize to raise funding are
1. Planting vegetables and other agricultural product in the temple area.
2. Village people set dedicated trees such as coconut trees in their garden. All the
income from them go to the project of building the dagoba.
3. Dedicate some amount of our supporters monthly salary .
