  • i though u were supposed to follow that yellow line to taxi onto the runway?

  • There's no reason to short yourself a few feet of runway, especially if the runway is short to begin with.

    In america, do you use the same tailnumber shortening Technique as the UK?

    Here in the UK we take the prefix and the last two suffix of the tailnumber.

    Golf bravo juliet whisky lima would become Golf Whisky lima.

    So would aircraft registered in the US be something like -

    November seven six zero papa lima

    November papa lima?

  • you are. but this is short feild, so you want to use as much of the runway as possibel.
