listening to these people in the focus group, you begin to understand what's wrong with this country, that woman thinks west is honest, why, because he sounds nice, how do you know he's being honest? ridiculous

life, liberty, and pursuit weren't in the constitution mr. west, they were in the declaration of independence, but hey, you're only an elected official, you can't be bothered with your own country's history....ffs

I can't quite put my finger on Luntz. On a personal level everything about the man seems genuine, thoughtful and respectful. An honest to goodness "nice guy."

But consider what his job is as an American political consultant, pollster, and Republican Party strategist. Luntz's specialty is “testing language and finding words that will help his clients sell their product or turn public opinion on an issue or a candidate. In other words he is a professional liar hired to mislead the public.

The people are the government and the government is the people. When Republicans say they want to limit the control government has over our lives what they are really saying is they want to limit the control people have over their lives. Citizens must be able to protect themselves from private industry and government is the tool we use to do so.

First of all Mr. Luntz is a Republican. So keep that in mind when you consider his "objectivity". What the women in the audience, who called out Mr. West, is referring to is Mr. West saying that the Democratic Party is a "21st Century Plantation" and Democratic leaders are "plantation overseers" & calling himself the modern day Harriet Tubman (who helped free SLAVES).
