clove oil is an old home remedy. Some may have even seen it once in a good movie called Marathon Man with Dustin Hoffman. A scene where Laurence Olivier is torturing him with a dentist drill thru a tooth. He then dabs a bit of clove oil to numb the pain to ask a question...lol
