nice, it would get pretty low too? i have just finished a sealed box for my 21" 1200w rms sub, ill put up a video of that soon, i haven't even tested it to see how it sounds yet.

30hz It sounds pretty good I have a 18" 300w subwoofer in it right now and it sounds damn good I was shocked how loud it got for only being 300w.

Why did you put 500W RMS in the title when you say you have a 1000W amp?
Wojtek944 3 years ago
because the amp is over rated and have found out its only doing around 500w

Thanks. Just wondering as I'll be running one of those subs at 500W as well. I bought the dual 2ohm one and have to wire at 4ohm, which my amp only makes 500W on heh
Btw, that distortion sound in the vid, is it your digital camera or the sub really sounds like that?
Wojtek944 3 years ago
Ok, yeah the distortion is the camera if you look at other subwoofer videos on here they all sound fairly similar, These subs seem to run well in half the rated power, i did a 135.8db sealed up at the dash on termlab with this setup and car so with the right power and box in a hatch id say it would be capable of well over a 140db.
