I'm with ya dude ... 500% ....
Folks need to educate themselves on the topic rather than just repeating all the BULLSHIT (and yes, it is indeed BULLSHIT) and fear propaganda that was shoved down our throats as kids.
If your boarded .. watch (or google) "THE UNION. The business behind getting high"
or "GRASS"
Both are GREAT Documentaries

Bruce didn't regularly do weed with Samson. He tried it once and it made him sick, he even said it "made him sound the night with his head in the toilet". He since hasnt done by weed. I believe Dave used to do LSD at one point, H smokes and I believe Dave still does (I've seen recent photos of both of them with cigs, though that could be just a celebratory thing). Steve apparently hasn't touched them, and I believe him. Also I believe Nicko did cocaine at one point for a short period (I've hear

Whats with all these pussies complaining about weed. Its a fucking heavy metal show what do you expect? Without pot smokers, we wouldnt have a lot of the amazing rock and metal music we have today. If you dont want to smell ganja, dont go to a show. Some of us like to toke up as it enhances the music and allows us to connect to it more spiritually. Alcohol, cigarettes, coffee, prescription pills- there all drugs. Weed is the safest of the lot. Grow some balls and learn the truth.

Maiden make more money with merchandise than music I would think.
-
@canadianskickass bruce is cleaaaaaaan
-
@llehmorfzzaj Ha ha ha that is just too epic!!!! If only he did that to the wanker who threw the joint here. That would have been a crowning moment of epic win. I can't stand the smell of smoke so if I saw somebody doing that I'd have done the same thing.

Ah, I was at this show and I remember it like yesterday. When this moment came, I yelled GO BRUCE!!!! TELL IT LIKE IT IS!!!!. Such an awesome moment and I'll admit I'm 19 and I do not smoke and/or do drugs, I will admit Bruce has inspired that choice a bit. I mean just look at him, he's in his 50s and in terms of energy and charisma he rivals several people even younger than him. Hell at the show in 2010 it amazed me he was 51 and was still running around and keeping the energy up! UP THE IRONS!
-
ahem you don't need weed to escape your crappy lives. especially at a concert. but whatever.
a new respect for bruce. XD and FYI, he was only on drugs during his samson career because he thought it was the only way he could communicate with the band and dropped them as soon as he joined maiden, so don't bring up holy smoke. the song's not even about that?
RIME!

I see what your saying. The thing is that now a lot of people just download music.I still buy all my music, I support these bands and to me iron maiden is the best band of all time.I still need to buy the albums with blaze and no prayer for the dying then ill have them all.
-
They can't sell CDs as well as many really lame bands can, for example Garth Brooks has sold the second most albums of anyone in the whole United States. Don't get me wrong I think that Maiden deserves way more sales then they get, I fucking love them, in fact I was at this show.
-
Are you trying to say that maiden can't sell cd's?Aren't they up to about 75 million copies sold?
-
Yeah, like when he ran the guy over in the parking lot of the arena in Dallas back in 2003... that was the funniest story
-
Good music and album sales rarely go together, and sometimes are opposite. If album sales meant being great, then in the early 90s Garth Brooks would have been the best musicians to ever sell CDs in the United States, His music is shit, so that proves my point. UP THE IRONS!
-
I never heard about that but I do know of several incidents of Nicko road rage XD
-
its a joint!
-
You're right.
-
fucking right pilatesdog147!
-
me too actually
-
yes cigarettes are much worse
-
S T Coleridge was an Opium addict, not a pot smoker!!!
-
Wasn't Nicko fucked by the police many years ago because they found some Pot in his bass drum? I'm not sure 'bout that, but I heard it once...
-
success doesn't always translate to record sales dick weed. metal bands as a whole aren't accepted by the mass media and so will never have huge album sales with exception of a few who cross over to mainstream and in regard KISS they're an example of what NOT to do as a band they're the biggest sellout band ever
-
Well, not that I'm encouraging that you do, but don't knock it if you haven't. It's safer than cigarettes and Bruce needs to stop being such a girl about it.
It may very well be safer than cigarettes, but its still considered a controlled substance. So in Bruce's case, if he ever gets caught with so much as a trace he could lose his pilots licence for ever. He just doesnt fly for the band, he flies for a British company on his down time away from the band if Im not mistaken. FAA and NTSB doesnt take too kindly to that sorta thing.
