Chasing some Porsches. Session just started and we get on it at 0:58. Cars are a black Carrera S, a yellow GT3, and a silver Carrera S.

i was there that day...those porsches were slow as fuck. the gt3 driver was holding up my friend. They were patheticly lapping 2:14's in a gt3.

Ya I heard a lot of complaints about them. Best thing to do is report it to the event organizers so they could have a talk with the offenders about track etiquette.

I was at Buttonwillow 25 CCW on 6/2/07, so we just missed eachother.

Just curious, but are you heel-toe downshifting at all? In the video it sounds like you're on the brakes and you put the car into a lower gear, without rev matching, at or just before the turns.

I did not heel-toe much at all that day. I will be sure to use it all the time at the next track event.

I just been there the first time at Button, and it as fun, was not fast tho...did 2:15 on my AUTO Rx-8 :( yea...is auto...sucks....

1:38-1:40 on Streets?! Oh well at least they are using it on the track. A lot of people just buy these cars for status and will never appreciate the Porsche race engineering.

Nice video of Buttonwillow, pretty good driving too, although the guy in the GT3 needs to pick it up a few notches. GT3 buyers should have to run a qualifying lap before they allowed to purchase the car. :-) The last time I was at Willow someone in a 997 GT3 was turning 1:38-1:40 on the streets and he thought he was really moving. At least he was having fun though, that was a insanely quick car.
