Hi ! Im french, and love cajun culture, and zydeco music . . .
The exact expression is "laisse le bon temps couler", that i'l translate by "lets the good times flow", but I'm neither a professor, nor a specialist.
"Rouler means " roll", "couler" has many significations, sink, for a boat, or flow for a tap or a river, for example!
En français on dirait "profites des bons moments".
I let you try an automatic translation of this last phrase . . .
Long days zydeco !

I met Clifton Chenier in the 80's. He was not only a great musician, but a true gentleman with those exquisite Southern manners. I adored him.
He was on dialysis at the time - one day in the hospital, one day feeling horrible, one day to play and get on the road to the next gig and the next dialysis machine. His grace under this pressure was an inspiration to everyone around him.

... have some fun..... cuz when you're dead ... you're done... Let the good times roll....
Thanks for the Post Dickie LOVED this. He was healthier here than when i saw him LIVE in NYC. (i think the Dialysis was on the agenda then which is so draining) in any case, Clifton Chenier is a Legend. This is the 1st time i saw him in action lookin' good. :-D nice
