Mr Bojangles - Jerry Jeff Walker (Cover)

Tonight I'm taking a break from Gord. While it's true that he is King, there are other great songwriters and songs out there, and I wouldn't want you all to think that I eat, drink, and sleep GL everyday (Even if I do).

As you likely know, this song was a #9 Billboard hit in 1971 for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. But it was written by Jerry Jeff Walker and tells a true story about a talented but troubled dance man he met while behind bars in New Orleans. There are many Bojangles' out there. This is for them.

As for GL, I will return to him soon. Maybe tomorrow! Requests are starting to come in so get on the list! (Of course, I have to confess I probably won't follow any particular order.)
