you guys know dc has repeatedly said in drum interviews that he doesnt practice with a metronome? and yet hes so precise. more importantly, his FEEL for the groove is incomparable...unbelievable drummer. after all these years im still in awe.

Danny is a BEAST! so technical, so precise...behind a kit lol I saw Tool at edge fest in like 99 or 2000 and Danny was doing some tech work. He walked out with about 140 pairs of sticks in his arms, tripped, dropped them ALL, kinda stood there for a second, sighed, and walked away..a few seconds later some random helper dude came out and picked them all up lol

Danny Carey at the end of every TOOL concert takes the skins off his drums and throws them into the crowd not because he wants to give a fan a souvenir, he has to because he hits the drums so hard with passion that they cant be used again.
If that doesn't show how much he puts into his drumming, I don't know what does.
