  • I have added the bluetooth module, but it won't automatically connect when I start the vehicle. I think this is because it can only "register" one cell phone. I think maybe the installers registered their phone to it and I can't figure out how to delete theirs so I can add mine. Any help???

  • @thisisc0nway

This can be trick as I had teh same issue when upgrading phones. I believe you can unreg(ister) a current phone by press the line w/scissor icon. Once you do that, pair your phone so it works through HU, then Reg(ister) it by pressing the REG icon on HU phone menu.

  • How did you retain your overhead dvd player? Did you buy a adapter if so can i get the website

  • @DrasticMessurez817

No harness available and most websites said it wasn't possble. I was able to achieve it by providing a switched power connection to pin 2 of the RSE unit and wiring video and audio aux RSE unit.

  • Just got this same unit, looks great & seems to do what I need it to & more! I'm dreading the install, its going in a 06 maxima with a cd changer built in the dash, tape player below that & the info screen at the top of the dash. Also a crazy dash kit. Hope I can pull it off. Ur video was helpful, thanks

  • What mount are you using for that iphone?

  • @KANEDL25

Hi KANEDL25 - Search YouTube as there are already several great videos on building this bypass. I'd just be repeating here.

  • @AAADiver

Thanks for the response AAA. Another question for you. How did you do the bypass? I bought a switch with 3 prongs in the back to which I connected the ground, the parking brake and the system remote but it still won't play the videos.

  • @MrBlackchevy11

Basically all standard. Only mods were bypass to watch video while car is in motion and special wiring to support Rear Seat Entertainment system. You do need to buy the additional cable to connect your I-device though.

  • @terrelable

Not that I'm aware of. :-(
