Fionn Downhill, the CEO of Elixir http://www.elixirinteractive.com talks to Jessica Kornacki, VP of Marketing at Endless Vacation Rentals about her company's award-winning social media campaign. The campaign 'yourfatchance.com' was a user generated contest that went beyond all expectations. Generating a lot of energy, passion, and conversation about the brand, the user generated content microsite dramatically raised brand awareness for Endless Vacation Rentals. Kornacki and her team even engaged in guerilla marketing, dressing up like a hippo at the St Patrick's Day in New York City, and talked about the site as well as giving scratch-off coupons. Not only did this promote brand awareness, it was also a great team building activity for the company itself.
