  • @TheVoiceOfReason93 Obviously you've been indoctrinated by Marxist professors. LOCAL control is better. We don't need a pencil pusher in Rome (Washington DC) dictating to the States.

  • @eflint1

What's so bad about centralization? Decentralization have bad, if not worse, problems. I would list them out had not for the fact I am studying for my university Biology degree

  • @TheVoiceOfReason93 We only have to look at the Southern States in the real timeline to know Harry's scenario would not have happened. We are still the region in this country that fights centralization more than any other.

  • @eflint1

And you think the Southern states are not prone to end up as bad as the North on this in the long run? There is ultimately no difference between a Yankee American and a Confederate American. They are all human beings doing what humans do best - being complete bastards to each other.

  • @TheVoiceOfReason93 I also hold a dim view of slavery. But it is silly to think that the radical de-centralizationists would embrace radical centralization. History has proven that it is the Yankee States that love centralization and want it forced on every State.

  • @eflint1

I suppose it's because he has a dim view concerning Southern use of slavery.

  • Turtledove starts out his timeline good showing that the Yankees was driven by a lust for economic dominance and did not care about slaves. However, Turtledove completely goes whacky in the rest of this timeline.

  • Excellent video. love the music!!

  • @TheWildwest666 third person but has their thoughts and what not

  • Question. On the Turtledove wiki, it tslks about characters whose POV are in the series. Is this first-person or third-person limitied?
