@mickeymoose76 this place is to teach u technics . not how to save on prims on a fire hydrant... yes that is a lot of prims but it teaches u technics.. the Ivory Tower of Primitives is the best place to learn prim building in sl.. start at the beginning of the self paced tutorial and do all the exercises in the sand box out side of the tower. when your done with them all you will have a insight on how it all works and short cuts . almost like a magician giving you the book of magic tricks!!

so, if you want to make or buy a fire hydrant for instant for your land, would it cost you 20 or more prims or would the hydrant be classed as one prim? I could imagine if everything you buy is 30-40 prims each you couldnt really have anything much on a 117 prim parcel of land for instance could you?
