it is kind of sad to see, hes taking all these pills but were just not far enough ahead in technology for him to live for ever... you have to be ultimately objective and this is a perfect example, you have to stand on the shoulders of giants, he doesnt want to die right before the singularity... thats not fun to die while knowing about that... so he gets overzealous when hes looking for his information because the mind takes what it wants and after all hes only 1 man.
