Targeting those in the armed forces who have experienced a loss of limbs, the C-Leg comes complete with a microprocessor controlled knee that is smart enough to adjust the hydraulic systems according to the current activity being performed. An included remote control enables the owner to switch modes, which includes the all new standing mode that takes away most of the weight off the good leg.

The C-Leg® is now even better. Based on the experience of users and practioners, were proud to introduce advanced features in this proven product. Check out some of the features which the new and improved C-Leg offers:

- Wireless Remote Control allows users to switch easily between modes. Offering even greater mobility and independence. Standing Mode has been added. Regardless of dynamic alignmentthe - Standing Mode stabilizes the C-Leg® at any flexion angle between 7 and 70 degrees. This takes weight off the sound limb. Allowing the user to relax while standing.
- Adapting Swing Phase Dynamics delivers independence to the user. Gives users the ability to slightly adjust swing phase for higher or lower dynamics for different activities. Easily done with the touch of the remote.

Scope of Application:
=================
The new C-Leg® is suited for knee-disarticulation, transfemoral, hip-disarticulation, and hemipelvectomy amputees. Amputees that fit in Mobility Grades 3 and 4 according to Otto Bocks MOBIS® Mobility System. Designed for amputees with a maximum body weight of 275 lbs (125 kg).

  • That guy walks extremely well on the c-leg. I've seen some that look awkward. I'm an AK, cut off about the same level as this guy and I'm getting a c-leg this week. I'm 34 and I'm an active strong walker.. Curious to see how I do.
