I hope to have more time to record songs - but the chance of getting "fame" via myspace or youtube takes a miracle (with no marketing or TV coverage) - or something extra ordinary good (a pure hit). In a way this is cool - as I'll know if I made a hit the day a video are seen by 100.000.

When I have time to record my next song NYC the lyrics follow up on the theme. This song is about living a fantasy life in NYC - in a dream...

That should probably end that theme and next songs are about various themes like "sticking your head out" (ex.if you have a talent) (song called "Open water"). It has a line that says:

"In open water

you enter the danger zone

In open water

You NEVER swim alone!"

Another question is offcourse whether you are happy or not - and that is another theme of my song: to take that chance and go for fame - what costs has it? Will you end up destroying all you have and those you love?

And if it fails? Can you live with the shame?

And when it comes to bitternes of the dream fails? Well - it could be that you're just not a real talent anyway - just a daydreaming fool..

About the millionaire thing - well maybe that pathetic part IS personal (hmm..) and I think there a many people that share this dream and wonder: is this really what my life is about? Could I do "better?" Isn't this is why we have X-factor and other talent shows? All these shows are about finding people who is "more" than their current life (a cell-phone salesman becomes an opera singer).

Definately different from what one would have expected and not the average muzak you normally get to hear when software makers etc release their on music.

Just some food for thought for making the best out of this song:

- I agree that the song should be named "Karma rule" -rolls better off the tongue and matches the chorus

- Maybe rewrite the lyric parts that deal with "wanting to become a millionaire/making it" into something more personal, that more people can relate to.

Thanks for the comments - I already renamed song to Karma Rule - as I agree on that point. I also removed the product demos from myspace - as I probably agree here to... I recently added these demos again (I had removed them once before..haha)

The song is great, and the bass is the best part.

Really good man but bass is too busy and mixed too loud for a pop track.  I can tell you are proud of your basswork, and it is great but just a little over the top.
