Michelle was a joke from the 1st day. She was very uncomfortable & non-feminine at all. I thought she was a guy & I told my ED this. The protesters really knew how to select an infiltrator to represent them. I was one of the top 10 finalist & the one in the red dress that snatched the banner was Miss CA Lisa Davenport crowning runner-ups. The funny thing was that Michelle in all her glory got tackled off stage by a guy more feminine than her. Not hard to do. Being there rocked.

Too bad............a wider angle lense could have given free America an UNcensored look at this. Ohhhh... the sheltered life they think we should lead. Please please I ama a learninga toa reada englisha. Whata dida the signa saya. No no nota being tolda Ia wanta toa see ita witha my owna eyesa. Thata isa why Ia came to americ..a. Why why the censor huh. What am I a child. It ain't nothing but a sign. America censors this....what else do we not see if this is too much for us. Censor.HA.
Hugh Hefner held decades long orgies at the Playboy Mansion 'auditioning' for the latest "bunny" for a pornographic magazine yet these self proclaimed 'femininsts' decided thier protest efforts were better served denoucning a pageant where women were awarded scholarships, judged on talent and wore ridiculously conservative one-piece swimsuits! Good, or should I say "safe" choice, Michelle! Were you too intimidated to go after organizations that were REALLY harmful to women?

From an article 6/16/1988 concerning this incident:
Michelle Anderson says she dieted, bleached her hair, took voice lessons and spent $5,000 in the 18 months that she plotted to disrupt the Miss California pageant and ''expose the lies they promote.''
Anderson represented Santa Cruz in the contest Monday night at San Diego. Just as the winner, Marlise Ricardos, was being announced, Anderson pulled from her bra a white banner reading ''Pageants Hurt All Women.''
