The Testarossa came out in 1984 and its production ended in 1991. The NSX came out in 1990. The NSX is basically a generation newer than this Ferrari. Also, the NSX competes with the likes of Ferrari 348/355. Testarossa is higher-end model and doesn't focus on track time as much. As a result, it's not surprising that the NSX is that much faster around the track.

Testarossa was one of the least potent Ferrari of all time. The transaxle and the oil tank was bolted together right beneath the engine so the center gravity of the engine is too high up and the rear 4cylinder out of 12 is overhanging from the rear tire so it's almost an rear engine car so the Testarossa is tend to spin real easily. Also the Testarossa is quite heavy. The engine and the gearbox is made out of heavy silumin alloy and other heavy materials.

Oh well.. how can you see that ? Kurosawa is a pro driver, trying to find grip with an old ferrari and tsuchyiya is losing time with drifting every where. Drifting is pushing hard the car's chassis, not pushing it to do laptimes. And jap's vids don't put jap's car to the top if they don't deserve it really. Watch the f430 challenge on BM, instead if saying non sense..

Gan-san is at least as fast as Tsuchiya.... Tsuchiya was taking it really easy and drifting all the time. Even a stock Integra Type R is faster than the Testarossa on this track.
