He was a good guy, but missed his chance to turn things around. When she said she usually goes out with guys who weigh more than her, he should have subtly told her she was fat. Like said "yeah, you're right, since you're kind of a big-boned."

Laruen: No sense of humor. Mean. You can't blame her for landing a few of those punches though because Adam kept projecting his insecurities onto her and it was annoying her. Thing about girls is, they will all tell you they don't like short, scrawny guys, and that looks are important, but if a guy has self-confidence it trumps all. I've seen it time and time again where a girl will hook up with a guy that has a lot of physical drawbacks but has the self-confidence to make it not matter.
