Eagle Movie Review. A young but courageous Roman warrior attempts to bring honor and integrity to the memory of his father while hunting for the golden emblem of his people.Our story begins in the year 140 AD telling us the tale of a roman soldier named Marcus portrayed by Channing Tatum, and his mission is really pretty simple. He has come to this land from Italy, and he seeks the truth as to what happened to his father and his father's entire military company who disappeared more than two decades ago. His father was the leader of the Ninth Legion of Scotland and has been the blame for not only the death of the soldiers, but for the loss of the legion's very valuable crest, the Eagle of the Ninth. Now in his journey to find the truth Marcus will have only the company and assistance of Jamie Bell's Esca, a slave that is indebted to the family of Marcus. Together they forge an unlikely friendship while traveling to the far ends of civilization, and through many battles and confrontations, they fight to help save the masses, and clear the good name of his father's memory.
