Boomer's Recording Studio in Maple Ridge BC. 48 Tracks on Cubase with a Firestudio. At the very end of the video, there is a sample of 2 songs we are currently recording. During the video is some "computer music" I recorded in 30 minutes with my midi keyboard.

  • I just got myself a Samson CO1U USB Condensor Microphone with the Sonar/Cakewalk software! Still trying to learn how to work it! Any pointers?

  • What interface are you using to plug that mic into your computer? Or are you just using the one input into your computer mic input?

  • I need to record all inputs at once but Cubase only allows me to select one bus as the "deafult" bus. This only allows me to use two inputs at a time. Please help.

  • Can you tell me more about what gear you have and what you are trying to do?

I know in my Cubase software, it will only take 2 tracks at a time until I go to an area and click to allow the other 6 as well for a total of 8 tracks at the same time. The area is VST inputs.

  • Hey Boomer i've got my new studio coming and i've got the behringer eurodesk sx2442 and the maudio 2626 which is similar to the presonus and was looking for some advice on routing from the board to my interface because i'm going to be doing some live band recording and so forth. Any ideas on signal routing? thanks bro much luv love the video. Be blessed

  • Hey man. Thanks for watching. Well, there are many ways to wire your gear. For recording, I mainly have all 8 mics go into my Firestudio. From there it connects via firewire to my computer. From there I take a left and right out to my main board for playback and control the individual volumes and EQ of the tracks with the software. Hope that helps. Check out the Presonus forums for great tips and info.

  • wow

  • is that at your house? very nice

  • BTW, have you ever used Sonar 8 before? That's the one I'm using now with the Samson G-Track interface!

  • dude thats a frekin sweet studio

  • Great mic, I use one. However I wouldn't reccomend the software, it is hard to use and just doesn't work like a normal recording program. I use samplitude by Magix and it is awesome

  • Actually, it's the Samson G-Track Microphone Interface!
