They overheat is because of air drag, just add a small parachute (even if it looks ridiculous) on top of the rockets and they wont overheat that easy.

@trydyingtolive It's not just a case of you liking doing it, this is pretty much what the entire launch industry does. That and liquid engines can be restarted, which SRBs cannot at all.

no offense but kinda gay... i hate 2 say dat but der is easier ways

new chalange get back down.

@trydyingtolive I'm not arguing, I'm telling you SRB's are less powerful than LRB's.

@Neomex000 The game engine was different when this video was made. It looked betterish, but was pretty buggy otherwise. The new one is faster and will generate more trees and whatnot in the future.

@MrZombieBiscuit It's an odd glitch. I read the reason why,but I don't remember what it is.

In KSP, Solid Rocket Boosters actually have less thrust than Liquid Rocket Boosters.

@Zyoher In my experience they have very different motors. The solid boosters are like a fire cracker: very potent, but not long lasting. They have great acceleration, but each stage seems to hit a brick wall of max speed. The liquid boosters don't have that sudden acceleration, they are quite a bit slower off of the start. However, as long as they have enough power they will keep speeding up. That's why I like using solids to get me off the ground and liquids to keep it moving.
