  • hopefully i will put up a video of the 8450's a little bit later this spring

  • how many gallon atre those tanks... look like the ones we got... only we used john deere 7800 and 7810 with duels or an 1135 and 1155 with duels to spread our manure

  • The tanks are 5000 gallons, ya i have seen smaller tractors pull the tanks, but for custom work its better to oversize than undersize... especially in the spring lol..... Thats a 1135 on the pump there, i wouldn't put it on the tank for too long though, its on its last legs lol.

  • For compaction mainly, you'd be suprised how much compaction there is even on the dry land. We have the biggest possible tires on the tank as well. Full tanks and the tractor are very heavy, and with the duals we are able to have less compaction than trucks with big floater tires. Also, we run all year long so we need them in the spring and fall, and they provide extra stability when going 35km/hr on the road.

ps. 2 new Massey Ferguson 8450's on the way for this year, 50+ km/hr transmission.
