How sick is this? Private FOR PROFIT prisons paying politicians to make laws that will incarcerate more citizens... that is treason of the highest level. Your loss of rights is their gain. That right there is cause enough for a vigorous revolt. Private prisons should be eliminated from the face of the earth, and those who own them incarcerated themselves.

I think this absolutely proves that the U.S. is declining rapidly. Any time you make laws that are meant to get as many people in prison just to make a profit then you know the nation as a whole is declining. Prisons should never ever be for profit. There should be no exceptions. The only justice is if people rounded up the CEO's and politicians who invest in these private prisons and force them to live in them to live in there for the rest of their lives. I think people should do this.

@bamboo4tameshigiri That's right. Governments themselves are not bad, immoral, or "evil", its when governments no longer represent the people and instead are hand in hand with corporate interests. I'd say get rid of corporations first,, we are the government, at least in theory, but it all became corrupted. We have to take back control.
