  • India is now the world leader in ICT technology. Chennai is now the world centre of microchips and of course call centers due to Indian language skills. The first computer was invented by a Scottish man - Mr Charles Babbage and his INDIAN wife. Indians invented the wheel when whites were in caves. We had science and medicine 2000 years before China or Greece. The Greeks borrowed Indian science when Alexander the Great invaded northern India.

  • "call centers due to Indian language skills" Hahaha... believe me, a 4yrs old kid can speak better English than some of those highly skilled(low payed) customer support advisers. "world leader in ICT technology"?? Just check what`s in brackets above.

  • @disamjisa Call it Karma. Maybe ask an Aboriginal person about how they feel,,,,,,,,

  • @Ancupola I am a real British person.

  • @jjbarbados

The UK is a society of haves and have nots,,,,,the UK is a major player but is in danger of decline. It lacks a sense of direction and functions with low paid Eastern European labour and yet has over 1.6 million of its own under 25s out of work.

  • @disamjisa It is only worthless if you allow it to be. Consider how REAL British people must feel to be thrown into the EU with no say in the matter. As a person from Hong Kong I have the dual identity of strong British affiliations and Chinese at the same time. I feel your unhappiness with the EU system.

  • @partridgehead what about a mexican guy?

  • @jjbarbados no, but we still invent and design a lot. and have it made in china.

  • The present system is fucking unbelievable.

I am a British citizen, I have very long family ties to this country (back to the 17th century), however I happened to be born in and grew up in Australia.

Today, a Bulgarian can come to the UK and be classified as a "home" student for university fee purposes, and start a degree on that basis the day they step off the plane.

I, a British citizen, have to wait three years. Being a British citizen/subject used to mean something, now it's worthless.

  • England is no longer a major actor in the World`s economy. Out of the UK, no one has a `made in england` product at home, perhaps a scottish whiski or an isolated derivative. Its what represents, the western garantees and the financial system. Inmigrants still flock to the UK because it has an absurdly high hard currency,

the world today is productive and grows with cheaper currencies.. The same currency that creates deficit , debt , protests and stalls the economy.
