I've got a Benchmade Ascent 825S spine lock(U.S. made), as I find liner-locks don't agree with my big hands.Never knew Benchmade had China-made stuff,guess you learn something everyday,eh ?
I mainly own Spyderco's,this is my only Benchmade and it's a nice knife-like it !!!

Why do you "hate" stuff from China. That sounds racist...

I just got that knife. Even though it was the one made for Harley Davidson, I love it all the same. As a bonus I got # 138 from the first run. I am all giddy now.

benchmade said it was discontinued
then what is it it has to be some kind of assisted opening or something

nope just a normal opening. Sorry is it wasn't clear on the video.
It all has to do with how much force you put on the thumb stud. I've just had a lot of practice. One of the many reason I think laws against 'assisted/auto' opening are not well thought out. With a little know how I can have my knife out just as fast.

you hid it and you can't find it? rofl, that sounds like something i would do.

yeah I do stupid things like that. I have ALOT of great hiding places and Ken knows some of them. But I have since found it. Apparently in between the seats in the car is a GREAT place to hide a knife. NOONE would think to look there....including me...
