  • @labanp I agree

  • @cacoop7770 no, no...integrating the mouse would just make it too messy and hard to play, I think it's best to stick with the keyboard

  • @labanp These are some interesting ideas. I might want to add I am only an amateur at this game coding so I can try my best to accommodate these ideas.

By hand control, do you mean mouse control?

  • @cacoop7770 :) well, first - if it's possible, it would be nice to give the body a less rigid look - make it flex, twitch or basically a bit looser - maybe rag-doll dynamics style, but not to the fullest extent.

Having the jumps look more natural will greatly upgrade the game by itself.

As for the "easier" stuff, the freestyle movements - adding stuff like front splits (although both axes could be nice), rodeo grab (or grabs in general), giving flip/twist some hand position control options..

  • @labanp Hmmm.. freestyle movement? Could you elaborate more on that idea?

  • @cacoop7770 well then, if you could make some freestyle movement options - that ,imo, would give the game a more natural feel to it. Walaber is a great game, but the movements there are just too 'stiff' and unrealistic. - just saying

  • @labanp To be honest, I had this plan of the game long before I discovered Walaber's Trampoline. Then I found that game and added more ideas to my game from that. Since I couldn't get a hold of the Walaber Engine, I decided to make Walaber's Trampoline better by implementing the ideas into my game.

  • @cacoop7770 great to hear, btw, is it in any way based on Walaber?

I remember a while back I thought it could be nice to take the Walaber engine and try and add some new features, maybe also work on making the graphics look more realistic.

I certainly can't do it now, maybe when I'll get more experience with these kind of things, and have more free time.

  • @labanp Thanks man. Now that its summer, I have time to work on it and improve it. Glad you liked it

  • I think this game has some great potential - it sure need some massive graphic improvements and maybe some physics as well, but all in all, it look good - hope you'll keep working on that.
