Billy Jones was born in Denison, Texas on November 20,1945. He started his singing carreer singing gospel in church. Next he toured the USA as a member of the Army Air Defense Command Choral Group. In late '68 he settled in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He soon became a vocalist with Oscar Harris & The Twinkle Stars, where he stayed off and on until 1980.
His solo carreer started in 1970 with the single All My Brothers Are Clean on Catfhish. In 1971 he signed to Imperial. In 1972 he released his second album on Blue Elephant. He continued recording singles for several labels until 1979 and joined the transition from the Twinkle Stars to Thunderstorm.
Billy Jones died June 10, 1982 of cardiac arrest.

This is terrible even though it pretty dated. I've heard garage bands sound like MFSB compared to these guys. Oh no!
