my answer is air bags are besttttttttt in terms of off road (can drive faster over bumps ect and adjust heights /great help) were coils off road will not be puntured by tree branchs/sticks ect and are static (no moveing parts /electronics to fail).as for on road with air bags you can throw car around courners (stays flat even with rear loaded as electronics keeps it that way /great handleing ) and with coils on road wont give problems /and once fitted cheap (not spent 1 cent in 3 years)

You said your not running air bags, in terms of performance on and off road do you think it is the better option?

yes SEWadjEVi you are correct ,at the end made it worth while for them helping me out.being in landrover club theres allways people who know the workings of landies and when we can, we help each other out . may be one day put mud tyres on but i love quiet and no steering movement when driveing straight .hope above gives every know how now to fix .

A happy ending with BECM's Guru... !!
You're a lucky man to have friends like that... ;)
I've never driven a P38 that does not have air suspension, nor would I want to. I love the flexibility of the EAS, and it is not too dificult to understand or maintain. Perhaps Ralphie can comment on his spring conversion.
