How can anyone with ears that hear not absolutely love that voice and his arrangements! I don't care who he divorced or married, he had a wonderful voice, and his records still confirm that!
@digitsoundz2480 -- Yes, that was the golden age of vocal music (before my time but I like it a lot): Eddie Fisher, Tony Bennett, Sinatra and Nat King Cole, of course, Frankie Laine, Dean Martin, Johnny Mathis, Doris Day, Patti Page, Rosemary Clooney, Kay Starr, so many others. Truly the golden age of vocal music.
Now this is the sound that can stand the test of time. Thank you Eddie Fisher for the timeless classics and all of the memories. So hard to appreciate someone or something as grand as this sound until it has vanished forever. Thank you for posting song...
A grand song, a grand singer. He was the best of his time. My father and I used to listen to him together on the "Coke Time" show. It's sad that his career was so brief, because he had immense talent.

1953, Ike was inaugrated as President and we got the heck out of Korea (but did leave a lot of troops there and still are).
