First flight tests for our UAV project. The aircraft is a R/C Piper Cub equipped with a Stargate board and a MNAV sensor head. In these first flights, only the manual passthrough mode was used. No autopilot nor waypoint navigation was tested (yet). Modified Microgear software was used to log the data for further processing (aerodynamic model simulation).
This is part of my "UAV platform project" MSc thesis at Cranfield University, UK.
