Sounds like we have the same attack. How long are your races? Ours are 100 miles across the desert so we usually hit the roads and try to find were the bikes will be crossing then hit the spots close to them.

@swampswimmingshrek We dont have deserts in Louisiana. :) The LACC HS series usually has a 4-6 mile loop, which is why there is so much footage on those vids. The leaders come around every 12 min or so. Enduros? I like to get footage of riders flying into the check-out checks all frantic like. But my fav is filming the kid races! When Im not scoring them of course!

Hey Dritbikemomma you have some great videos and it seems we are shooting the same type of things. So my question is how are you getting to multiple spots in the race? Do you ride a bike? Also would like to know what your shooting with. Keep up the videos I love them!

@swampswimmingshrek Thanks Swamp! Camera? Sony HD Handy Cam. In weather and outdoors it does great and doesnt cost a fortune. Multiple spots? I go find them, for a HS I film the start and then just start walking the trail backwards into oncoming bikes. I do NOT recommend that for spectators. Dangerous! Im usually behind a tree when filming,in case a rider goes haywire on me! Asking landowners & race host where a cool place to film works too. Riders never know where they will see me out there!

@swampswimmingshrek Oh... and no, I never ride my dirt bike on trails while there is a race going on. Sometimes I'll ride my bike to the trail, park it off to the side and then start hiking with my backpack, cell phone, water and cameras! :)
