To this day this is the most amazing race ive ever seen. I have raced standerdbred horses and have been 80-1 or worse 3 times and won and those were non winners. This was the breeders cup folks! Like winning the belmont with a mule!

@eajinabi My late Mom began betting Bailey almost blindly in 1982 at Gulfstream, when no one knew who he was. Used to cash a ton.

Six weeks before this race, this horse beat ARAZI by six lengths in a Euro stakes on the grass. Bailey at 133-1 should have sent up an alarm.

Jerry Bailey was one of the biggest big money riders there were. It saddens me to see them give eclipse awards to jocks who accumulate claiming winsand very few graded stakes wins like they did to Ramon Dominguez.
