@Bee0992 there are some others too... lots of hotels and shops and streets used as places they walk down, or places that they have coffee, but those are the main ones I think... Oh and the castle is used tons!

There's an official Dr Who location tour you can go on... Not sure what the company is called though.

I've lived and worked in Cardiff for years and i keep wishing i could come accross some filming but never do.
But i like Cardiff Bay, especially on a hot summers day. That fountain can really cool you down if the wind is in the right direction ; )

Also, when standing outide the Queen's Arcade (where Jackie went late night shopping) walk towards the church and look around the street. That was where the doctor and kylie 'beamed' down to in voyage of the damned. Welcome to the hayes, people :)
Can i just say its so weird hearing people say these things about cardiff when it just seems like the most normal place in the world after going there for years! Its truly amazing! :P

They should change the name of that fountain to "The Rift fountain" or something.
I love that the "Bad Wolf" graffiti is still there. That's just awesome.

It's funny watching this video. I live in Cardiff and see quite a number of locations from Doctor Who each day. It's odd because most people think "There's Queen's Arcade again." but when it's on TV people wet themselves with excitement looking at it!
It's great watching people jump on the 'moving' step on the water tower and say "Come on! I want to meet Barrowman!!!"

The Stairs in the milenum center was also used in The Sound of Drums as the master walked down the steps after his become prime minster
I'm going to Cardiff for a day next week, so hopefully I'll be able to see some of these places.

Hope you have fun! Mermaid Quay and the Millennium Centre are a must! Then there's the Doctor Who exhibition across the road in the Red Dragon centre too! :)

You should. It's great fun. If you go to the exhibition at the Red Drahon centre you can get a location guide for 20p :)
