Actually with regards to music, listening to CD may not be differ much experience wise (except for diehard collectors who'd kill to have the physical copies cos it's a whole different experience altogether for obvious reasons) as compared to listening to digital music, but VINYL? That's irreplacable. That's music at its best format ever, and something no matter how digital music may advance can replicate.

Thanks HammerFrost! You're right of course. We're talking about the loss of fidelity or warmth in music and video. There's no absoluteness to these transitions. But it's way "worse" for books transitioning into the digital domain... it downright doesn't feel the same at all :)
