David and Amy Sumner (James Marsden and Kate Bosworth), a Hollywood screenwriter and his actress wife, return to her small hometown in the deep South to prepare the family home for sale after her father's death. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amy's ex-boyfriend Charlie (Alexander Skarsgård), leading to a violent confrontation.

Saw the movie. Only a smart mind will truly understand certain concepts. If you're not smart, then you'll probably see this as just a movie. There's subliminal messages, that you have to catch.

What kind of woman who grew up in a podunk country town, knows all the guys in this town want her, goes back many years later with her new husband and goes jogging with no bra on?! #2What's up with her purposely getting nude in front of all the male workers, that was an invitation saying, "just rape me". #3. Why was she so shocked when she got raped by 2 of the workers after undressing in front of them? Their characters were too submissive and not straight forward enough....Annoying.

One of the most disturbing movies I have ever seen. That rape scene made me so fucking mad and then she had the audacity to blame her husband for it. but that end scene was fucking AWESOME. so yeah, basically this trailer showed the entire movie lmao. go ahead and watch the whole thing if you feel like being extremely uncomfortable for two hours.
