Staying warm and saving money on your heating bill has a lot to do with properly sealed windows.

  • I would be carful following the advice in this video. Silicone is ALWAYS a bad product to seal windows and doors with as It is not paintable. Paint will not stick to it when your house needs to be painted again unless you pick up a tube of paintable silicone. Even if you do get the paintable stuff the thinner cleanup makes silicone a poor choice and if I wanted to use something solvent based I would use urethane caulking.

  • can't paint silicone caulk but they do come in colors , i would use a urethane caulk. professional caulker
